Yellowbrick Publications is run by playwright and composer David Barrett. David has a masters degree (MA) in Scriptwriting for the Theatre and a masters in music (MMus) from London University. He is currently working for a research degree in Shakespearean Pronunciation. David is a former Head of English, Head of Music and Head of Drama in two independent schools in Hampshire, England. He has been writing and composing for over twenty years and a number of his own plays and musicals are performed regularly throughout the world as a direct result of exposure on www.playsandsongs.com. David has written and directed plays for schools, theatre companies and London fringe theatre. Initially, he published only his own work but recently made the decision to broaden the company's aims and offer publishing opportunities to fellow authors and composers.
